After the hiring of their new Head Coach, the Ravens have won two straight games and now sit at 4-3, making them 2nd in their division. Those two wins were not against bad teams either. Their first win was against the Steelers, who have one of the best rosters in the league. And last night, they would beat the Saints, who made the NFC championship game. Since the arrival of their new Head Coach, Lamar Jackson is playing much better. Despite throwing three interceptions against the Saints, Jackson made the big plays when it mattered most.

The Ravens do have a tough schedule to end the season, but they have some momentum right now. Their next three games are at home (Browns, Colts, Jags), a place where the Ravens have yet to lose. So all things considered, it might be time we start giving our attention to the Ravens.

Coach Xan has not said too much to the media, but Lamar Jackson spoke for him in a quick emotional postgame interview:

Interviewer: Lamar, how does it feel to be winning again? And how much of that winning would you say is due to Coach Xan?

Lamar: Words can’t describe how it feels. It’s been a long time since we were over .500 halfway through the season. But yeah, since Coach has stepped foot in here, the energy has changed for the better. He is a quiet guy but he gives his all to put us in the best position to succeed. You want to play for a guy like him.

Interviewer: You guys now sit at 4-3. If the playoffs were to start today, the Ravens would be in…

Lamar: Damn. Sorry to cut you off, but wow. Obviously, we have a lot of season left, but to hear that kind of gives me goosebumps. I’ve heard – we’ve heard all the slander. “Lamar is the most overpaid overrated QB in the league”. “The Ravens will never win that division again.” “The Ravens should trade Lamar in the offseason”. We heard it all. And for everybody who switched up. To all the “analysts” who think they know football, stay on that side. But we coming fasho.”

Interviewer: Lamar, I know you want to get in that lockerroom to celebrate with your guys, so I won’t hold you long. You guys are now going to those faithful Ravens fans. What is your message to them.”

Lamar: We are ready. Simple. We were not doing a lot of talking when we were losing, so we not going to do a lot of talking now. But trust, it’s up!

Interviewer: Thank you, Lamar.

Lamar: Yes ma’am.

The Ravens will host the Browns at home in a game that will be a very physical divisional game. Will the Ravens continue their winning streak or will the Browns be the first to give Coach Xan his first loss as the Ravens Head Coach?
