Let’s be honest: Last year Caleb Williams looked like an absolute bust. 28 touchdowns and 31 interceptions is not something you would expect from someone who has been mentioned with the Bradys and Mannings of the world before he even touched foot in the NFL. Maybe running for his life and being sacked 30 times had something to do with it, but the poor play from Caleb was flat-out embarrassing.

But after a full season, it looks like the game has slowed down for him as he was seen breaking the Jaguars defense into pieces. Throwing for 333 yards and 5 touchdowns. Critics will say that it was only against a Jaguars team. To that, I say, duh. If he had a poor game, you would be hating on that too. He had a great game, so give him his props. I’m not saying he belongs in the conversation with Brady or Mahomes. All I’m saying is that to start the season, he is looking like the quarterback we expected to see when he was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks. Next game, he gets to prove that this game was no fluke as the Seahawks go against the Dallas Cowboys.
