In a game with both teams fighting to reach the top of their division, the Bills and the Patriots put on a show. The QB duel was not perfect, but it sure was fun to watch. Both Mac Jones and Josh Allen threw 5 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. In a shootout, the best offensive team ultimately won as the Bills won 44-42. These are the types of games that build up the locker room. The type of games that give hope. Next week, the Bills will go against the Bucs. And after a game like that, I would want to have nothing to do with Josh Allen and the Bills.
On the other hand, Mac Jones may have had his last game starting in a New England Patriots jersey. Earlier today, it was reported that Deshaun Watson is on his way to the Patriots. Mac Jones did not surpass expectations, and it seems that the Patriots have decided to go in a new direction. What is next for Mac Jones? Is Watson what the Patriots need to get over the hump? I’m not sure if we will see him next week against the Dolphins, but I sure hope so.
