The Steelers have done a great job every since they brought in their head coach towards the end of season 3. They have claimed the AFC North as theirs, and last year, they were possessions away from going to the AFC Championship game. Led by MVP snub, George Pickens, the Steelers’ offense was unstoppable. They ranked number 1 in total offensive yards. Najee Harris led the league in rushing yards, and even with two missed games, Kenny Pickett was top 5 in passing yards. Let’s say when teams played the Steelers, they would have to score 30+ points a game.

But for a while that was possible as the Steeler’s defense was pretty average. But toward the end of last season, the Steelers showed a new defensive game plan that elevated them to a new status—the status of being a true contender. With an offseason to further polish that defense and bring in players who fit perfectly, the Steelers are geared to make another playoff push. And to start the season, they have already shown that there are levels to this blowing out the Ravens 55-17. The Steelers Head Coach has been adamant about this season being the Steelers’ year. There is a lot of season left, but I do not doubt that when the playoffs come around we will be talking about the Steelers.
