From the start of the season, they put the league on notice. Following a loss in the AFC Championship last game, the Bengals entered the season with a chip on their shoulder. They came into the season with a new mindset. A new swagger. And a sort of dominance we have not seen in a while. They trolled their opponents while they took control of every game. They picked up haters along the way, but they stayed true to themselves. And stayed true to their motto “Stand on Business”. And that’s why they are champions!
I’m not going to lie I was a hater. I didn’t like the cockiness. I did not want to see this team win it all. But now I realize, I,like many others, was jealous. Jealous that the Bengals had it all figured out. Jealous that they were the best team in the league. But I can’t help but be happy for this team. They did what they said they were gonna do. Through all the hate, they, yes I’m going to say it again, STOOD ON BUSINESS. They are Season 1 OGCFM Champs, and let’s be honest, we may be calling them champs again next season!
