Let’s just say, the Bengals coach is a man of few words. This interview took place in the Super Bowl Pregame Press Conferences:

Interviewer: Congrats on making it to the Super Bowl coach! What would you say is the biggest reason this team has made it this far?

Coach: We got lucky honestly. I don’t know how we made it this far. But seriously, we have had the same mindset all year long. “Stand On Business”. We still have a bad taste in our mouths from last year, losing in the AFC Championship game. We knew we would get here, so we were preparing all season long for this moment.

Interviewer: Going up against a run-stuffing team, passing will be the difference. Have you talked to Burrow and how much of this game is on his shoulders?

Coach: Joe Shiesty threw for 6 touchdowns in the Divisional Round. It ain’t no pressure on him. We gone take and run with what he give us tonight. The same way we’ve been taking what he has given us the entire season. This game is a big game, but nothing changes. The Panthers are a good team, but so are we. They have good run defense, but so do we. You should be asking them about Bryce Young because we are not worried about Joe Burrow.

Interviewer: Jamar Chase has been an offensive machine the entire year, but especially in the playoffs. Many have said he is a cheat code. How have you been able to make the game easier for him?

Coach: Cheat code? What do you mean to make it easier for him? Mr 7/11? The one who is always open? It’s already easy for him! I trust he is going to show out again today in the biggest game of his life. But to answer your question: there is no such thing as making it easier for a guy like him. He’s an elite wide receiver. One of, if not, the best in the league. And you can quote me on that.

Interviewer: What gives you guys the edge over the Panthers?

Coach: We not worrying about having an “edge” over anybody. We coming to play Bengals style of football. It’s his job to stop it. Simple. Next question. Make it the last one at that. Got a game to prepare for.

Interviewer: O-ok coach no problem. W-what would you like to say to the fans back home?

Coach: For all my real ones rocking with me just know we STANDING ON BUSINESS in Cincy.
