If there is one thing we know about the Chiefs, it is to never count them out.
That’s not only from what they’ve done in recent years but also from what they have done this year. Do you remember how they started the season? 1-4. I’m sure I don’t have to remind you because they were getting clowned. And you were probably a part of the clowning. They fired their head coach and got a new one. What happened since then? The Chiefs are 6-3 and still have a chance to make the playoffs. An incredible story in a league that is full of them. But this story could end pretty quickly with just one loss in the tough AFC. The Chiefs go against the Patriots, Raiders, Bengals, and Chargers. The Patriots just came off a major upset against the Steelers, but I believe that the Chiefs will be too much. A divisional matchup is never easy, but the Chiefs have too much to fight for, and I think they will take care of business against the Raiders. Speaking of business, they will have to go against the “standing on business” Bengals. The Bengals have shown that they are beatable, and in a QB duel with Patty and Shiesty, I’m picking Mahomes all day. And if they were to win all those games, they would have to go against the Chargers. I’ve said it in a previous article, that this would be GOTW. I also said in that article that I think the Chargers would pull it off. Clearly, I have not learned my lesson not to count them out. And maybe, just maybe, I will learn my lesson again.
