The Tennessee Titans had their first of three divisional matchups against the Colts in this one and despite the defense playing pretty good on all fronts, the team wasn’t able to come out with the w as they fell 17-14.

The offense this week had played better than their last matchup against the Steelers but their major downfall in this loss was the fact that they had only got 2 possessions in the first half which didn’t result in points and if either of those did, the game would have been different for the team. Will Levis had a better game with him being more safe with his throws and although he ended up with a 8-15 stat line, he didn’t throw any picks and could have had a chance with some of his throws but was just a little bit off on some of his passes which led to the loss.

Tony Pollard was able to get more carries in the loss in this one, going 16-69(Nice) with 2 tds and was outpacing his opposition for most of the game and was the main focal point that the team had in the gameplan.

The receiving attack was able to make the most out of their limited opportunities, catching the ball almost every time it hit their hands this time with only 1 drop in the game. Chig was the leader in yds with 78 on 3 recs, he did make a mistake on the final drive by not going out of bounds when he needed to which burned off precious seconds off the clock when the team was close to being in field goal range. Amari Cooper had a solid game with him catching 2 of the 3 passes thrown his way, his 3rd target was just out of reach so he wasn’t able to keep his feet inbounds on the play when he had space. Treylon had 1-18. Josh Whyle went 1-10. Tyjae Spears had gone 1-3.

The offensive line did a great job in the rushing game but they were a major factor in the loss with them giving up 4 sacks to Levis while also making him pressured more than what a line should allow which was the reason they were stagnant in the first half.

The defense had come to play in this one, another showing by them in which they played great rushing defense in the game and came up with big stops in the loss. The team wasn’t able to get too many tfls with how good of a back Jonathon Taylor is but they forced him to go most of the game with no good plays, if it wasn’t for his one td that he had, the team would had led him to have under 50 yds rushing on 15 carries, allowing 76 to him.

The team had made someone as electric as Anthony Richardson feel pressured more than not in the game, making him end up throwing a pick and fumbling the ball when the team was in the red zone twice. They also got to him once for the sack but had so many opportunities where they lit him up before he was able to pass the ball.

The stars on the defense this game was LOLB Harold Landry, who was able to record a half sack with Myjai Sanders but was also the person that forced the fumble late in the fourth to give the team an opportunity to tie or win the game. The other star was Ernest Jones who was able to get the lone pick that Richardson had thrown, sadly the team wasn’t able to score points off them but the defense were the reason they had chances in the game.

The team is looking to get their first win of the season in their next week matchup against the Jags who are coming off of a big loss to the Seahawks.
