Yikes! Myles Garrett is going to the Colts! The Colts traded Brian Burns, 2025 1st-round, 2025 3rd-round, and 2026 1st-round for Myles Garrett.

For the Colts, this is a clear win-now move, as they put themselves in crazy cap penalty to make this trade. But the saying does go “Scared money don’t win the Super Bowl”, or something like that. But if it wasn’t already clear from their trade for Justin Simmons, this team believes that they have what it takes to win it all. They did move on from Burns, but a front of Kwity Paye, Dexter Lawrence, and Myles Garrett was too good of a deal to pass up on. Arguably the best defense in the league just got better, and that might mean scary things for the league. And even though the Browns’ GM was not pleased with Garrett’s performances, he showed out in his first game. Already getting a pick-6. This could be the move that has them holding up that trophy in February.

For the Browns, this move indicates that they are in a complete rebuild. Rumors began to surface, after a tough loss last week, that the Browns GM called and demanded that Myles Garret be moved. Myles Garrett was not playing up to their standards, so they started making calls. They get a young superstar in Brian Burns plus draft capital. This season is pretty much over for them, but the future does look bright. Brian Burns has already led the Browns to their first win of the season over the Broncos. This move does make me think that Nick Chubb will get moved as well this offseason. Keep a look out for that.
