Wow! In a move no one saw coming, Calvin Ridley has been traded to the Chargers. In his first season back following the suspension, Ridley and Trevor Lawrence never seemed to work together. The Jags were starting to find their footing after a slow start to the season, and they feel that putting Mike Williams on the team will help Trevor Lawrence and the Jags offense go to the next level. With a defense that can get stops, offense was a need. And they get a clear #1 receiver in Mike Williams.
After a loss to the Chiefs, the Chargers realized that they did need a bit more. They receive a 2025 3rd-round pick and Ridley. I’m not going to lie, Herbert and Ridley sounds very scary. Herbert and Ridley! Are you kidding me? Only time will tell how great a duo this will be. I believe the Chargers are about to take off and I got my popcorn ready!
