In my opinion, the Patriots Head Coach is in the conversation when it comes to the best defensive minds in the league. At least top 3. And I know for a fact, he was jumping up and down when he got a call that Marlon Humphrey was on the block. The Patriots traded their 2025 2nd-round, 2026 1st-round, Jonathan Jones and Keion White for Marlon Humphrey.
For the Patriots, they get another huge defensive piece to their great defense. I’m a huge fan of this move because I think it makes them one of the best defensive teams. And with an offense that is still trying to figure itself out, they may need their defense to carry them for a little while. The Patriots are struggling this year, so we may have to wait until next year to see how big of a trade this was for them.
For the Ravens, I like this move because they are not currently top contenders. To get something for an aging Humphrey is huge. They not get a 1st-round pick next year that could be high if the Patriots continue to struggle, but also Keion White could take off with a new organization. I love this trade for both teams.
