Some trades don’t really make the headlines because they are not big-time receivers or defensive guys. So, many people may have swept the Ravens and Steelers trade under the rug. But the Steelers did make a big move before the trade deadline and you can ask Najee how happy he is that they did. The Steelers traded their 2025 3rd-round and 2026 1st-round for Ronnie Stanley.
For the Steelers, this is a clear win-now move, as Stanley is 30 years old. They believe that some help on the offensive line will dramatically improve their already explosive offense. Najee was probably smiling ear to ear as the running lane will open up like the Red Sea. The Steelers are looking like real championship contenders, and I believe this move is a huge win for them.
For the Ravens, I think this is also a win. They move on from an aging player and snag a 1st-round pick. Not bad at all. If you looked at the previous trade, the Ravens have done a great job in getting draft picks. They have already improved from last year and may be just a draft class away from being back in contention. I think this is a win for both teams.
