The Cardinals have high high hopes for this season, and well let’s just say they better keep hoping. The Cardinals had super bowl on their mind coming into this season, and after their week two game with the Colts, where they lost 31-3, they are now 0-2. This doesn’t mean that this season is over though, it is far from that, there are some problems in Glendale that need to be addressed before their success can start. Last year the Cardinals were a playoff team, a good one too. They won games last year by scoring more points than the other team, and I know what you are thinking, “obviously,” but the Cardinals were scoring at the top of the league. They had one of the best offenses in the league, if not THE best offense in the league. By scoring as many points as they did their defense did not have to be elite to win games. But now the Cardinals have run into a situation. Their same old defense is back, and they are not scoring points.

You don’t have to look too far into the stats to find out what the issue is with this normally high powered offense. It’s black and white, turnovers are killing this Cardinals offense. Kyler Murray already has five interceptions and a fumble in two weeks. Some of these turnovers have been especially heart breaking coming in scoring position. But we know what the team in the desert is capable of, when it is rolling this team can score points at will. If the Cardinals can cut the turnovers out, I expect them to get back on the “W” side of the column, and dare I say make a run at the super bowl.
