Coming into week 3, Eagles were derailed by an upsetting lose to the 49ers, but the team only saw positives from that loss. Coaching staff and starting QB Jalen Hurts sat down and informed Hurts he did nothing wrong. Through week 3 Jalen Hurts has been the most efficient QB in the league, with 10 TDs, 2 Ints, and a 80%+ completion percentage. Coach Procana informed the defense they needed to step up, Jimmie Ward was extremely upset about Coach Procana’s criticism but was able to turn it around in week 3 vs the Vikings. Although allowing 172 rushing yards, Jimmie Ward promised Eagles Fans it would not last for long, defense will get better.
Offensively, the dream team did their thing, TE Loveland had his first TD, Nico Collins led the team with 10 Rec and 150 Yds, AJ Browns, Quez Watkins, and FB Reggie Gilliam all had receiving TDs. D’Andre Swift appears to be getting the ball more and more as the weeks go by and this game Swift had 13 rushes for 89 yds.
Tough game coming up in week 4 facing the new coach with the Buccaneers. Eagles coming in confident and with a chip on there shoulder being called the worst team in the NFC East and a bottom 10 team in the league. Coach Procana statements after those comments, “We will do the talking on the field, the fact of the matter is we had a bad game against a really good team, but we will lineup and smack you in the MF mouth, just come down to the Linc homeboy.” As he walked away, and as he is used to doing, coming back saying, “Fuck your fine, Fly eagles Fly Mfs.”
