A new NFL season is almost underway! Houston is buzzing as Texans fan get ready to watch their new star C.J. Stroud back in action, who led the team to 10 wins and a playoff appearance in his rookie season. The Texans retained head coach DeMeco Ryans and made some other exciting additions to the staff. Former Patriots GM and renowned team builder CJ Hunter takes charge of the front office, while new Assistant Head Coach and QB Coach T.J. Yates will help evaluate Stroud to stardom. The new GM commented in his opening press conference that he’s blessed to inherit a roster with such elite talent. “C.J. Stroud, Stefon Diggs, Nico Collins, Laremy Tunsil, Derek Stingley, Danielle Hunter, and Will Anderson. This is an incredible core, and I expect my work here to be more of a retool than a rebuild. This team is ready to win now.” The AFC South should be a very competitive division, and the Texans will be an interesting team to watch. Will they take the next step forward or fade back to irrelevancy?
